Dress Code

Appropriate attire is required at school for safety reasons. 

  • No hats, hoods or sunglasses indoors.
  • No bandanas, chains, dangling jewelry or handing belts.
  • No bare midriffs, tube tops, or cropped tops.
  • No pajamas (unless it is part of a school sponsored activity). 
  • No sagging pants.
  • No backless shoes, wheels, high heels, flip flops, or slippers. Shoes need to be appropriate for recess and physical education. 
  • No clothing or accessories with inappropriate advertising of alcohol, drugs, tobacco or sexual innuendos, or content that is hostile or disparaging to a particular group of students.
  • No costume hair colors, for example, orange, green, or blue except for during spirit days. 
  • No gang related attire.
